It was a reason for me to finally try that game ... which doesn't support key mapping, it really put me in a bad mood (I have an azerty keyboard) and I just couldn't stand the UI, I found it really messy and after 2 hours of test I just didn't have any fun nor any challenge except the design of the game itself .. My opinion is probably biased but I'm really sad it isn't nearly as good as Rimworld :/

Robocraft to do away with loot boxes, in favour of a tech tree

Well, I've played hundred of hours on this game to finally unlock all it had, suddenly they just removed all my items, even some where I payed real money for and made me fight in the same arenas as newbs just starting the game.
Now they will put back the good old robocraft, well still I will not play it again, because 1. I don't want to redo 100 hours of this game with a battleship I dislike just to finally buy one I quite like and 2. It will not revert all the cosmetics, my ranks and all I "fought" for.

Yeah "early-alpha" I know things can change... but this was just a stab on the back.

These options of premium, people paid for them before the loot crates, they lost all the things they won with them.
Now same things may happen for people who bought loot crates ?

Honestly, even if you want to play this game, don't give it any money unless you're ready to loose all you have.

Quoting: 14
Quoting: urlauberThe first review (+2000h playtime) suggests it is pay2win. Like all free2play games I'm very sceptical about stuff you can buy that is more than just visual upgrades.
The only two things that you can buy with money are: additional crates of random drops, which you get one or two of after every match anyway; and VIP status, which gets you twice as many drops from crates, and additional colours to paint your bots (plus some other even more minor stuff which matters even less).
Yep and these crates are really, really, really bad. since they introduced crates, you now have 1/10 of what you had at the end of a game. But it isn't even money, so you sell that and earn 1/4 of the price of the block, and now you can buy something.
so it's 1 game for 1 block.
PayALOT2accelerate.
This game was already pay2accelerate, but I had 300H into it, and ended up with the best tier of the game.
Now you don't even have tiers anymore.. all the fun part of leveling up the bot is now ripped of.
So yep, I'm sad of this old game, and one of those "haters" for what the devs has done.

I will not mention the number of people who lost all their premium things because of the changes (I remember it happened 2 times, but maybe more....)

Well, It's not that bad for the price (still higher than msi ones but really good in comparion of the market).
But damn the coices are pretty rude .. Either a little intel or a Big NVIDIA !
The casing seem good an this is only good components :)
I'm also sad for not seeing an amd cpu ^ .^

This is a anither small step going towards linux ! :D
