If they would now just remove the ability to buy skill points, and the "play for free" BS. I would be a happy returning camper!

A weekend round-up: tell us what play button you've been clicking recently

Well lemme see.... I have been playing Vampyr, fantastic game even though it has gotten a lot of bad rep. Also i have been starting to get in to Rise Of Industry, also a really good game but perhaps a bit "complicated" at first. The supply and road system is a little special. And on third place is WH40K Inquisitor martyr/prophecy a bit of a slower ARPG, but i like it. Thank the flying pasta monster for Proton.

The RPG 'Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues' has released

well regarading the sword, i consider the same as for example guildwars, it's a skin. completly optional. If you want the looks buy it, if not, don't. It doesn't matter gameplay wise. worked great in guildwars / gw2.
As for the performance part, yes it is sub par at the moment, but i quite enjoyed the game.

Some thoughts on Man O' War: Corsair, rough sailing and very little fun

Realistic racing game 'DRAG' coming to Linux soon, built on Linux and it looks astonishing

Looks cool! But as far as racing games go, we do have them, but we do not have THE racing game.
Assetto Corsa, it has no match as far as sims go atleast.
But i will probably pick this one up anyways :)

F1 2017 released for Linux as Feral Interactive’s first Vulkan-only title, here’s a port report
2 Nov 2017 at 10:34 pm UTC

Quoting: Alm888Well… Let's pretend for a minute I am using Steam (and in reality nothing short of threats of execution will force me to do that). So, according to the benchmark I am forced to buy twice as expensive hardware (or even make an upgrade in the first place!) compared to Windows version!

This is bad. Like, really bad! Feral should be disallowed from trashing Linux reputation with its "Feral-ports" any further.

Really, I'm on my last leg here trying not to swear. Really. Hope this is the last "port" from this studio. We don't need such piss-poor "ports", ever.

P.S. Sorry for the rant. Hope I didn't insult anyone.
I did take offense... I feel that you want to return to the state of Linux gaming in the late 90's or something...
Both Feral and Valve are big parts in making Linux Gaming a viable option. So SHUSH and go compile Gentoo.

Cossacks 3 has been patched and it should now work a lot better on Linux

Quoting: robiniseenbanaanI bought the game. It works fine, but sometimes it just freezes and crashes and sometimes there is no sound. Is this just me or is this also a bug?
Nah, it's not just you. I have emailed the developer about this, but I'm sure they would appreciate your input as well. since it is a bit annoying when it crashes right as it auto saves (or when you save manually for that matter)
