Counter-Strike: Global Offensive adds the first Agent customization with Patches

I think the current system is fine, as Liam said, if you want something specific, buy it on the market or trade for it.
Also, I'm sure the lootbox system helps garner interest for the game, lots of videos on youtube of people unboxing insane skins or knives/gloves.

Quoting: einherjarThey should really develop a better alternative to this lootbox crap. That would be a bad idea for Valve if they still want to keep the Steam market around. Who is going to go to the market to buy items if you can just get it straight from Valve? Nobodys going to be selling their items for less then what valve sells them, and nobodys going to buy from people that price it higher than valve does.
Could be so easy, just sell Items or do auctions with limited amount of each item. Or something like that. But this gambling thing is really outdated IMHO.

Cool, I have been wanting to learn C (and then C++), and after that Unity. I got the drive space, so I'll start downloading the videos soon.
Valve ends Counter-Strike: Global Offensive container key trading and selling
30 Oct 2019 at 6:11 am UTC
The reason for this is because steam puts a cap on how expensive you can sell an item for on the Steam market ($500 I think?), when you are getting into the VERY rare skins and other items, things can start going over that limit.
The way around that was to basically pay for the item in keys. Those keys are either then used (if the reciver of the keys is feeling lucky), or then all sold on the market. AFAIK not uncommon to see people then sell their account before doing anything with the keys to sort of "withdraw" money from their account.

Quoting: fagnerlnTo be fair, it's really strange the usage of the market to buy keys, it's cheaper in game, and I don't get why someone will buy a key to resell it a few more cents as steam have some % (30%?) on it.Don't really know about other games, but keys have always been used as a sort of currency when trading.

Quoting: drmothIs this the last episode? I've been waiting for playing them all.Nope, as AFAIK they want the story to have 5 episodes, given that they were MEANT to release episode 3 like a year ago, you might be waiting a while. (they decided to work on doing the redux versions of episode 1 and 2 instead since many people had a lot of complaints about them, and they want the game to be the best it can be)
What are you playing this weekend and what do you think about it? It's mostly Dota Underlords for me

Definitely not in a state to be playing any games yet, but it seems like according to here http://wololo.net/2019/03/19/orbital-ps4-emulator-showing-significant-progress-now-with-graphical-output/ [External Link] that the devs have just recently been able to get some graphical output, so perhaps in a few years it should be useable, especially considering its virtualization and not emulation, so you might even be able to run PS4 games easier then you can PS3 games :)

"Dark Souls Remastered and Grim Dawn: Added workaround for rendering issues on Nvidia GPUs"
I have been playing Dark Souls Remastered recently and I think I know the exact issue they are referring to. It makes the game nearly unplayable in Blighttown IMO, which is already an area every Dark Souls player dreads already.
I'd say Dark Souls Remastered is running flawlessly now then assuming it is the same issue they are referring to. Nice to see DXVK making progress :)

Yeah I was having some issues with my 1080 Ti,I was having weird rendering issues with the Windows, I didn't know it was an issue many Unity games were having so I reported the bug to the developers, I didn't know how to describe it so I sent them a video of it with the games log data and some other things.
Their website was having issues with me uploading a video so I gave them a link to it, here's the link if anybody wants to see the video https://drive.google.com/open?id=1wSM_HyK272iEikdP8LChNdlsOH0vGxkr [External Link]

Windows 10 S might alarm Valve into boosting SteamOS again

I believe that this version of Windows is actually intended for schools (I think I remember the S standing for student, but I'm not entirely sure). For them, this makes a lot of sense, not being able to install anything but what is in the Windows store makes Windows more secure (similar to Apples walled garden). I don't think this is intended for a wider audience and schools don't want students messing with their oses just incase they break something (you could argue that it's the ITs job to fix this, but lets ignore that). So this isn't really intended for widespread use, so in my opinion, Valve doesn't really have anything to fear.
