CDPR announced that TW3 reached one million pre-orders [External Link].

Strangely, no word on the Linux version until now, even when they talk about their future plans:

“We’ve crossed the 1 million pre-order milestone and it’s all thanks to you guys! We would like to thank all the gamers for their trust and support,” said Marcin Iwiński, co-founder, CD PROJEKT RED. “This is the last stretch and we’re pushing hard -- over the last two weeks, we’ve increased performance on all platforms and started working full speed on the expansions, Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine.” concludes Iwiński.

That's getting suspicious all over again.

I was waiting for this one. Hopefully it will come out on GOG too. I asked developers about it, so may be they'll clarify.

Pillars of Eternity is great. With current depressed attitude towards crowdfunding that many voice it would be harder to create such games in the future however.

I don't like installing packages for such things either so I just use tarballs and unpack them. Sometimes they only provide debs, but those are easily manually unpackable as well.

DOSbox configuration is pretty trivial. So I usually prefer to use my system DOSbox with GOG games, instead of the bundled one.

Is there any data? I'm not sure about "too many times". At least not amongst the projects that I personally backed. I guess may be someone made some global research on this.
