Intel using DXVK (part of Steam Proton) for their Windows Arc GPU DX 9 drivers

Quoting: Liam DaweThey include the license as-is, so it's perfectly legal to use the DXVK code like they are AFAIK.
At least release notes mention DXVK developers.

But I wonder what's their motivation for such obfuscation in the code in the first place. It's going some extra length for sure.

Hm, original license is Zlib, so it's not strong enough as GPL to prevent Intel from doing such shady stuff. However it mentions this:

– Altered source versions must be plainly marked as such, and must not
be misrepresented as being the original software.

Interesting, but not giving credit by name to the project they directly benefit from is very poor taste, especially when they boast about performance improvements which no doubt prompted them to turn to dxvk in the first place.

The usual. I don't really care about GOG SDK. Is it a multiplayer game? Why is it mandatory then?

Calling ray tracing RTX is misleading, unless they mean it's going to work with Nvidia only. RTX refers to Nvidia only hardware that implements ray tracing.

The Next-Gen update to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with FSR 2.1 should be fun for Steam Deck

Quoting: KlaasWhen Zenimax merged Wolfenstein 3d and SoD into a single game (without the SoD mission packs), the original SoD (which had the two mission packs) was removed retroactively from GOG accounts (after an accound refresh that is unavoidable in the long run) while it was kept on Steam for previous owners.
On GOG at least they keep a few previous versions on the Galaxy server, so hopefully if they overwrite the game, one would be able to access the previous one with lgogdownloader. But I'd still recommend making backups.
