Only new game I got was Civ7 and.... that was a mistake.
Mostly played Civ 5/6 and BERT (heh), Valheim (lotsa that)
Finally started No Mans Sky and enjoying it (even though no clue what I should be doing)
Not many new games look interesting enough to make me part with my money.
(I'm fussy)

I went and checked. My 2x32gb sticks cost 290cdn. (580 for 2 packs)
Current price: 1150 per pack. 2300 for the 128gb. Almost 4 times the price.
(the gov will love it for the extra tax money)
ppbblltt!

Glad I upgraded when I did. (2 yrs ago)
WHEN, not IF, the AI bubble bursts, gonna be a great time to do another upgrade. :)
Until then.. I could probably make a bundle selling half my memory. (have 4x32gb sticks in it)
hmmm...

Adding bots that you give commands to? (as in squad level stuffs?) Go look for a different game.
Valheim was never designed for that. Single play, or with friends.
I've completed the game (well, done allthe bosses avail at the time) multiple times.
Having others with you helps in some respects, BUT there's a price. You need twice the food, twice the materials for weapons/armor etc. Not much extra space for a bed, but the materials...
All the mods I use are working just fine with this patch. I've seen the new ghost (I like),
no bears yet, nor the vile (not at plains yet).
Dunno 'bout the trinkets yet.

Steam UK users will now need a credit card to access mature content due to the Online Safety Act

Well, they could just have said "flock this, no mature game for the UK", or worse,
just block the UK period.
(it's a stupid law IMHO, and it's gonna bite them on the backside at some point)
(after a data breach. you **know** that's gonna happen)
Just check, my steam acct is 16 now. :D

Nexus Mods announce age verification for UK users

I'm not all that ticked at Nexusmods, they don't have much choice.
It's either that, or, block everyone from the UK.
(btw, that's what I'd do. Just like the porn companies are doing to individual states)

Honestly: Good. It's bad. Stupid etc. yes, I can imagine worse. It will get worse.
We tried the laissez-faire way, and we know how that ended. However this eventually turns out, I cannot imagine it being worse.

I used mods for larger inventory/boxes, increased stack sizes etc, as yes, the inventory management sucks.
(many games are like that btw)
I've got over 4,000 hrs played, and stopped 2 years ago after they brought in their Twitch Integration, and
killed the Mischief Maker mod. (dmca'd and changed the eula) Now their latest set of EULA changes..
Nope!
I still don't (and won't) recommend the game due to their actions.
I watched the video and ... dunno. They changed a lot from the last alpha/beta (it's STILL pre-release software
no matter whether they call it 1.0/2.0 ... says so in the game) First time that old saves are flat out busted too.
The "storms" .. ok, what is the POINT of it? Biome locking I do get. (some hate it, but it makes sense)
More bullet sponge zombies? meh. Go through 1 block openings? some should, the big fat ones, no. (that would make sense)
Horse armor DLC? bwhahahahahaha! Git stuffed.
(ok, the always on stun rod.... THAT would be amusing, I'll grant that)
