I was expecting them to say that they will not support the Steam Deck or at least not at launch or some kind of diplomatic answer.. but I definitely wasn't expecting a "Just install Windows" answer.. Disappointed

You mean you were getting teleported away even after 6:05? Are you sure the trader was open?

In their FAQ, they make it clear that they are working directly with BattlEye and EAC to get support for Proton.

It's not just that. They also kinda give a timeframe. To quote the FAQ directly:

We’re working with BattlEye and EAC to get support for Proton ahead of launch.

So we can hope for something good on that front before December (hopefully)! Which is really exciting!!!

Also.. Stardew Valley has a 50% discount on Steam [External Link] (steam says it is discounted for 21 more hours) and GOG [External Link].
The discounted price (7 Euros) is a new all-time low.
