UPDATE: found the problem,its the flatpak they give you.do not use the flatpak version of steam,just get it direct from the steam website.

I used to hate it, I couldn't use it at all so I was on Xfce for a few years. Since I started with Pop last year it's grown on me considerably.

I don't understand the reason to automatically assume the worst. There is no definitive evidence supporting either theory, so why not keep an open mind? You don't have to get your hopes up, but you're making assumptions without any support. Microsoft bought them but we're not privy to how much control and influence MS exerts on inXile internally. Being negative at this point benefits nobody.

More bees with honey and all that. I can't imagine linux is a major player for GoG or any gaming storefront really, I would think being the vocal minority in this case is more likely to get them to officially drop support for linux as opposed to increase their support for it. Be vocal AND supportive imho, that's what gives opinions weight.

The feature most important to me is delta updates/downloads. I hate having to re-download entire games because my only official option is the browser. Offer an official API if they don't want to develop a native client for us, let us develop our own clients even if they don't have full functionality (like multiplayer).
