I wish they add a way to easily see which version of proton a game is using and whether or not it has been whitelisted. That's the main thing I miss from the old library.
Whose Wine is it anyway? Wine 4.11 is out

Apt-listbugs seems like a nice package to have. I probably would have moved already if I had known about that.

Quoting: ShmerlDebian stable provides an option to use backports repo, which has newer packages of some components. But I really recommend you to use Debian testing which is rolling (except for freeze periods). It's way better for desktop use case.Yeah, I guess I could use testing or sid, didn't even think of those.

Great, I guess it's time to finally bail out of Ubuntu. May the distro hopping begin again.
Is there a Debian (stable) repo for more recent kernels and nvidia drivers or would I have to install that sort of stuff manually? Maybe it's finally time to give in to the Arch menace.

Anyone knows where i can get latest Nvidia 418.49.4 Vulkan drivers for Ubuntu except from the Nvidia site? I know about ppa:graphics-drivers/dev but it seems like this ppa is abandoned since October.

Quoting: Avehicle7887Anyone know how I can use FAudio with older Wine versions? I know Proton does this for a while but how about using it with just Wine?Try using these mingw builds https://github.com/Kron4ek/FAudio-Builds [External Link] as dll overrides.
So far I've managed to build the "libFAudio.so" library but I'm at a roadblock how to get Wine to use it.

It seems there was a bug in the 415.22 version that was fixed in the 415.23 version.
Fixed a build failure, "implicit declaration of function 'vm_insert_pfn'", when building the NVIDIA DRM kernel module for Linux kernel 4.20 release candidates.

Quoting: LeopardThey promised a DRM-free version for backers and they finally delivered it. Nothing disgusting about that.Quoting: VodkaChickenUgghh , disgusting practices.Quoting: Leopard2020 : It is still coming...Kickstarter backers get a GOG key as a reward. It's like four years late but at least they finally delivered that.
One thing to note ; i don't understand why they are referring releasing a GOG version as a reward?
People are buying it from there , you are not giving it away this game on there. You're just putting your build to another store ; at a price.
Reward term is irritating.
