What have you been playing recently and what do you think about it?

I am a bit on a nostalgia trip lately. I've been playing some build engine games
namely Duke Nukem 3D and today I tried getting Blood to run on nblood-git in coop.
Oh and Golden Axe on the SEGA Mega Drive classics thing.

Samsai also tried it on Wayland, didn't quite work there either but did on xorg.
Actually it does work under Xwayland but it seems some compositors are "better" at it than others. It seemed to work quite nicely on my Gnome session using Xwayland with mesa 19.2.4 on a RX480.

Addition : it's a crapshoot it worked flawless this afternoon and after some more testing (to prove Samsai wrong no less) it just started failing more and more.

Nice to see some progress was made but why did it take them about 4 years to get it to work on anything other than nvidia blobs???

Hurray! GJ devs!
A few months ago I actually set up a MT server to mess around with. I just created a secondary server with 5.0 along with some mods from the in-game browser and I must say it looks nice.
Can't wait to spend some time on it!

The next big Steam sale dates have been leaked, as usual

Perhaps one of these will be a good time to check out some cheap games from Windows-only developers for use in Steam Play?
Ultra yuck. Very ultra yuck.
I second that. That's not to say I don't have windows only games (and some keys still laying around that I might try). I just don't buy them just because of steamplay.

Currently, there's an issue in the Linux version where you can't see any servers in the server list. They're aware of the issue and suggest you view the server list in your browser and connect directly.
I want to work for the QA team of either VP or BI. Sounds like the best job in the world. Free money, because who checks the checkers.....

Great news!

I made a package for it in AUR right away :D And yes this makes me want to buy it too. But only if the actual devs get the money.

Did you find a way to test it?
I've been using it for a month or so. I'm the person who wrote the original PKGBUILD file that's in the gamemode git repo.
