I think at this point there may be more Vampire Survivors inspired games than zombie games.

Regardless of what this may or may not entail, there is nothing you can do or say to me that makes me believe patents and copyright aren't the love children of Hitler, Stalin, and Mao Zedong.

Yes. No two ways about it. Just yes.

QuotePerhaps finally Half-Life 3 (yeah likely not but I can dream).
HL3 couldn't be anything but disappointing. In The Valley Of Gods is what I'm dreaming of. Of course that probably wouldn't need aggressive driver performance optimisations.

Of course. That's why they're skipping HL3 and going straight to HL4.

Quoting: KuduzkehpanLong Live Rolling Distro,
Praise Be Manjaro!

LOL! I agree ... but even us rolling distros will need to wait a bit.

The current stable release of Mesa as listed on their site (https://mesa3d.org/) is 22.3.6 which is in unstable branch on Manjaro ... so it needs to get into testing, then stable. THEN Mesa 23 can enter into unstable and start testing.

I'm moreso waiting on plasma 5.27!

I didn't realize Manjaro was (relatively) slow with that. I'm currently running Plasma 5.27.1 on pure Arch, without having the testing repository enabled.

I like this one. Haven't heard of it before, though. Just like Golden Souls 2, in that I probably wouldn't know about it if it wasn't for this site.

I'm surprised I have not heard of this until just now.

I might be in the minority, but I actually prefer these simple graphics in strategy games. When I played Civ 5 years ago, I remember I was often using the tactical map for that exact purpose. The only reason I sometimes went back to the fully graphical view, was because it gave me a gameplay advantage when scouting: you could see what kind of tile was just outside the fog (grass, sea, etc.).

EA AntiCheat could spell trouble for Steam Deck / Linux

I sure hope they don't retroactively add this junk to Rolo to the Rescue, but considering EA's track record of being one of humanity's worst enemies, I'm sure they will.

Quoting: LonsforThis entire discussion feels very disingenuous tbh. feels like a bunch of people pretending that manchildren spamming the n-word isnt a thing.

And I find your comments to be very disingenuous. It feels like someone pretending that people getting banned from platforms for questionable reasons isn't a thing.
