Oh how I waited for this! I can't believe it's out, I'm taking it slow and enjoying all the little things for sure! hahaha. Plus, with modding already in and multiplayer coming, this game will make a solid player base for sure. Also the amazing filezise. 88mb for the full game? Damm. My 128gb SSD say thanks :P

Yaayy I was mentioned! Hahha :D Love GOL community <3
Yeah this game is amazing. Scary as hell, I went back after playing it back then and geezz, some scenes you see on it you wonder WHAT THEEEE. It's truly gruesome compared to games who try to be scary and bloody today, they can't reach that level.
Also if you have the original and some features like splitscreen and better multiplayer doesn't interests you, the https://github.com/nukeykt/NBlood based on Eduke32 is the BEST way to play besides this port. I would even say better than this port on some things people are noticing.
For myself I will get it when on sale and reaching Linux to get the splitscreen part, I play a lot of these games here and would love to deathmatch hahaha :D

I got Heroes of Hammerwatch and it's really big on depth on progression and RPG-like items etc. I just don't like how they don't have local multiplayer like the first one :( I loved to play with 4 players on the same PC, it was fun.

Looking at the Steam forum, I'm definitely not alone but no working solution seems to be there. Shame, I've really been wanting to give this a try.
