"if I allowed it to be sold at a lower price anywhere"
i wanna see how other stores react, when he sells his game on steam for a lower price, than... lets say epic
sweeney would be the first one who sues EVERYBODY

Quoting: slaapliedje-444 millions doesnt sound like successQuoting: DuncStill, even free comes at the price of counting as one of their customers. If people just didn't sign up for it, then it would go away. Though with one or two successful games, they hoped to do what Valve did, and so far it seems to have succeeded.Quoting: slaapliedjeSCREW YOU Epic! I don't see any reason to support them based on their 'we don't give a crap about Linux' attitude :)Who's supporting them? I'm just grabbing all the free games. They haven't seen a penny of my money in almost two years.
And most of the stuff seems to be DRM-free. Or, at least, it can be launched without the Store (or Heroic) running in the background. The only game I've come across so far that can't is GTAV, and it has such a convoluted start process - run Epic, update, run the R* launcher, update again (and fail, go back to step #1) - that I've given up. It did work for a while, but meh. Easy come, easy go, although I'd be annoyed if I'd paid for it. Which is why I'm not going to buy anything on Epic's platform until there's official support.
Quoting: drlambHas anyone here used Rare [External Link]? It's a GUI for legendary as well but without electron.Didn't know about it. But I'll give it a try.

thats months ago, so i guess some games already use it, like its shown in ARK
and again.. i dont know, i am asking.... and if its even possible to get Achievements with a 3rd party client
anyways... if you dont need Achievements heroic is way better than the epic store via lutris
Not generally deployed yet.
