For anyone owning the original Splinter Cell on Steam, I have verified that the new EnhancedSC v1.4a patch works perfectly using Luxtorpeda.

Dev of Steam game 'Hardest' will delete it after new girlfriend made them realise AI is bad

AI isn’t some abstract future threat it’s automation, just like the machines and robots that have already replaced countless factory, retail, and logistics jobs. Now AI can automate not just cognitive work but, eventually physical labor too, meaning even jobs people thought were safe could be at risk. Automation removes work quickly, while job creation and retraining lag far behind, leaving millions behind in the process.

The bigger question is this if automation and AI keep replacing work faster than new opportunities appear, what will people do for a living? And if people can’t earn income who will buy the products and services these automated companies produce? This isn’t fear-mongering it’s basic math. Productivity may rise, but without people participating in the economy, the system cannot function.

Hytale will run on Linux PCs via Flatpak but Steam Deck will require more work

no appimage?
i guess someone can extract the client from it and build an actual package

nice to see linux support though
I love how ridiculously divisive we all are as Linux users.

Dare I ask... why the hate for flatpak (a puke emoji, no less!)? If I can't install something directly, I want a flatpak. I'll use an AppImage and resent it, because it (often) doesn't create a menu item, it requires me to find a place for it to live (I usually bung them in ~/Misc/Apps or something), and doesn't update with the rest of my system. I won't use snap, as I'm not interested in YAI (yet another installer) when I already have flatpak.
I love AppImage because I can treat my applications like data. I can organize them in my own custom structure, back them up, copy them between any of my Linux machines including my kids Steam Decks and they just work most of the time.

If this goes big, we will see more subscription models happen. Ubisoft would love that, they think the future of gaming is to stream content.

Quoting: PJ@orochi_kyo : how did you add media foundation libs? That's one of the things that prevents me from playing Darksiders.
I just use Proton-4.15-GE-4 and Darksiders work. Make sure winetricks is install too.

It says

$./geekbench5 --compute-list

OpenCL
0 0 GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

Just to be sure:

Any idea what to do about that?
