I think the Steambox already has a very strong point against consoles. The key here is convergence. Being able to buy a game once and to play it both on the pc/laptop and on the console (Steambox) will prove irresistible for many people.

That is a great news! If everything goes as I hope, gaming on GNU/Linux will explode. And that would mean the end of Windows... another great plus in my book.
