Eh, the only games here that have piqued my interest are Undead Overlord and Paradise Lost, but I could always be surprised.

Quoting: Quote from HadBabitsThe game is currently broken for me :(
Was it working before?  Might need to try a delete local content in Steam and re-download it.  I found an issue in Monsters where they said Steam's OpenAl library in the Steam Runtime libraries was cause of my game saves being corrupted sometimes.
I've got more details here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/255870/discussions/0/666825525419441072/?tscn=1384281731 [External Link]

I did as you said, the first mission looks a bit more as it should, I can progress for a bit and there are enemies and guys I'm supposed to save. But there are still invisible walls in random places. I couldn't save one guy because he was right behind one. Which was just as well because the same barriers prevented me from going any farther into the cave.
Sounds like all blastable "sand" is invisible for you.  I can't imagine it being anything other than a graphics driver issue or corrupted files, both of which are verifiable.  Steam can do a file integrity check, and you can swap between closed and open drivers.  Using nVidia GTX 680 w/ closed drivers, no issue here.
I don't believe so. I watched a playthrough and there's nothing where I keep seeming to hit walls. As for the drivers, I'll have to play with it and see what I get. If all else fails, I'll just throw my hands up and swear at AMD :P

Humble Finally Launches The Humble Store

I just can't hang on to my money anymore. Linux gaming used to mean I could auto budget by waiting for the next humble bundle every week or so, now games are coming out too fast for my wallet to keep up with!

But Rogue Legacy kicks ass, so I guess I'll suck it up :P

Trilobyte Games Announces The 7th Guest: 3 On Kickstarter

As a person born in the early 90's, I never know how to feel about the classic point and click genre. I've recently played some old titles: Full Throttle, Day of The Tentacle, I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, and Grim Fandango. And while I stick around for the stories, which are always very unique and engaging, I tolerate the actual gameplay. Despite my efforts, I inevitably go to the game FAQ to solve the convoluted puzzles. Maybe it was intentional so you get more play time out of it figuring it out yourself, but to me it breaks flow into a stop and start of story and rubbing everything on everything.

However, more recent games have piqued my interest. Especially Amanita Design; Botanicula was a joy to play, and was never so difficult that it broke flow (though I can't say the same for their Machinarium, as much as I enjoyed it). And I'm very excited for Double Fine's Broken Age! Especially since Tim Schafer was one of the minds behind the story of those intriguing Lucas Arts games. And as a backer I've watched them address the concerns and shortcomings of their ancestors, as well as its strengths.

ID Software Moving Further Away From Linux, QuakeLive Going Native

Meh, I was in diaper when Quake came out; I never really got into it or Doom for that matter. However, I did recently purchase Duke Nukem 3D on steam for a couple bucks. Surprisingly, it's been quite a blast :)
