Well, it seems the previously incorrect reports about Easy Anti-Cheat dropping Linux support like to reappear and people end up spreading it around. Even though it has since been clarified, people still end up spreading it.

The way he throws around some technical terms demonstrates, how far technology has come: You actually don't have to understand the tech you're using to develop with in order to get stuff done ;D

Anyway, IMHO if the developer guarantees Proton compatibility, I'm totally fine with that. However, I wonder on how far this would be easier than actually porting the game, since it's the Unity engine after all.

This is a simple wrapper script that allows you to easily run Winetricks commands for Steam Play/Proton games. This is often useful when a game requires closed-source runtime libraries that are not included with Proton.
Is this any different from WINEPREFIX=/path/to/prefix winetricks ?
