One point is that, too often, the game is "ported to", not "developed for" Linux OS.
For older games, the ones i bought before being a full-Linux user, i don't care, prices have drop a lot and it's easy to get games for less than 10 or even 5€, legally and legitimately. For new games, i'm ready to pay a fee for a port, if, everyone pay for it too. I like the idea to pay for "the core game + OS", so i could buy a game let say 25€ + 5€ for Linux, +5€ for Windows OS, +5€ for Mac.
However i think Linux is still seen as a garage-geek OS by a huge amount of people, and the market is not ready nor willing to adapt. And more than everything else, i think the pressure from Microsoft is way too important. Just look how many devs use "PC/Mac/Linux", instead of "Win/Mac/Linux", to advertize the game. It was not like this a few years ago. Linux/Mac is growing, but people didn't change their habit "PC games" is related to Windows, and i don't see it changing anytime soon.

Pfff, one more... No wonder why players can be naggy at time, when you see project like this.
However i like to think about the many others that actually do provide what they say, and sometimes more.

It's really fun, and as i follow the game since mid-2015 (http://forum.canardpc.com/threads/100902-Jeu-Disponible%21-Dope-TrashCanners-Ouai-gros), it gives some special love feeling to see it's actually a game now. And it's free, it's well worth your after-lunch break, and probably more.
The trailer for the MMO Albion Online 'Galahad' update is impressive

It certainly looks better, but it's still very far from what was announced years ago (medieval Eve Online). It's way too much a MOBA, and they don't listen to some super smart clever gamers giving some awesome feedback to improve gameplay (seriously), such as fully reworking the Learning Points.
What have you been playing recently and what do you think about it?

River City Ransom, not sure if i like it, quickly boring in my opinion. Too much nostalgia involved, and i'm not nostalgic. A good modern game would be nice...
Meadow, an odd MMORPG from the team behind Shelter games
VoidExpanse with the newly released DLC Pariah's Bane
Legend of Eisenwald, a surprislingly good mix between HOMM and Battle Brothers
Realpolitiks, could be good with some DLC maybe, too shallow right now
Codex of Victory, i don't want to play much because release in soon, but it feels great already.

Linux Mint 18 64bits Xfce
Intel Core i5 4590 (4 x 3,3 GHz)
MSI GeForce GTX 960 @ 2 Go
8 Go DIMM DDR3 PC12800
I usually have Firefox open, and Steam, Itchio or nothing, depending on games, and so far i'm still satisfied with my setup. I bought it i think about 3 years ago, and i play i'd say 75% indi games, often "low tech", but sometimes AAA too (MadMax, Rocket League, Warhammer...). Sure i don't play "Ultra", but it's good enough, so far.

I'd like to like it, but from my (little) experience, i don't.

some deep, yet accessible gameplayWell, the demo, and the reviews on Steam, and the forum discussions, seem to say the opposite, as the lack of depth and cohesion is what is lacking to the game. Unless they release paths and (free) DLC to add layers of gameplay, it's pretty shallow, and easy to see everything you can do within the game in 5-10 hours.
I'd like to like it, but from my (little) experience, i don't.
