The game ostly made in free time, after work. Two of us working on it. Sadly we have no budget for a bigger testing team, so we are using our players for that. That can cause a situation like this where you can find bugs we never ever experienced in the last year :D
So can I ask you to make a video about this bug? "my ship would just randomly fall into the abyss right at the start" I just cannot reproduce it. Which version of the game are you playing?
About the menus are clunky with controller, that's my part of the development. Somewhere the button order not comfortable, or what you mean by this? I want to improve it, so with more information I can go forward! ;)
Also you are more than welcome on our discord, where you can tell us any bug you find and we will fix that as soon as possible! We had a little holidays pause in the last two weeks, but from January 2. we will continue the work and the polishing fixing bugtracking! ;)

Quoting: LinasIt's a REALLY early version from what I have seen. Controller support is partial at best, menus are clunky, and my ship would just randomly fall into the abyss right at the start without any explanation of what is happening or what I should be doing.Hy Linas!

I need a little help from you guys! Vulcan API how common for the Linux Gamers? The game finally working again after I changed it from OpenGL to Vulcan.
The problem is, there are gamers, who could play it before with worse graphics, but normal framerate when it was OpenGL based.
Now, with the Vulcan API they got all visuals, but the framerate much-much worse for them.
So now I have to decide, to use Vulcan with a little bit worse performance, or use OpenGL and it wont run for everybody. What you think? If anybofy whant's to help, I can send test builds via email ([email protected])

I'll search a ROM for it and play on my old old amiga. Now I have a reason to turn it on again :)
Quoting: fubenalvoWhen I hear a game referred to as a "marble-run" I can't help remembering the fun I had playing Marble Madness on my Commodore 64 using a joystick. It was a great game and was a commercial success for Atari. I hope your game is also a success fubenalvo!Omg this game looks like really fun, never heard about it before. Not all the western games went around on floppys in hungary to every town. We had that game, that the neighbout guy had. :D

So, if somebody use that shortcut, then be it. Game development is just a hobby for me, so I wont starve then :D
Am, I made a really simple trailer at the weekend. What you think guys?

Quoting: liamdaweA simple solution would likely just big a big invisible rectangle barrier.Yeah, that will happen in the next version, but it will be ready mid April I think. I'm collecting all the feedbacks and bug reports until then.

Quoting: tuubiBought it.Am I know this isn't a solution, but as I write on the itch.io site: Everyone who buy the game on itch.io, will get a steam key after the steam release, around May-June. Hope it makes this litle uncomforted feeling better :)
Note that if you're in the EU at least, $2 is the price without VAT. (...)
I paid 2.48€ in the end. Of course that's still really cheap if the game is up your alley. I believe I'm going to enjoy Flux Caves, although I've got so much on my plate that I doubt I'll play it until it's properly finished.

Quoting: SolitaryHey, man. Just playing the demo and I managed to get past the "trial ends here" barrier and I am currently playing the later levels. This isn't suppose to happen, is it? :)You run around and a level started when you went under a cave entrance? I'm just fixed this in the v0.91. It will be public in 1-2 days. ...or you find anything else? :)

Hy there! I'm making the game and thought to answer for some questions
Soo yeah, the DEMO is really easy, there are much harder levels later, but I tried to make them enjoyable too. not an easy task to make puzzles which are hard enough but not too frustating. You'll tell me I succeseded with it or not :)
We'll see about the price. The top I thinked about is $5, but that will be later at the steam release. The target date is about end of may to publish it on steam. Ofc the version on itch.io will be updated constantly too.
Actually I'm working on versio 0.91 in this moments too, just sought big donation coming from this article, soo big-big thank you for the article and for the greatfull readers too! Thank you guys! :)
