I quite like the terminal animations :) Would probably not use them on my system, though, unless it's for showing off*
*I already have ponysay for that

I am a solo dev on this game, and I cannot currently keep up with player concurrency. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME RIGHT NOW IF SLOW SERVER PERFORMANCE WILL MAKE YOU REGRET YOUR DECISION.At first, I got it as a joke, like if he was the one typing the answers to the commands (ant I thought that the joke was pretty funny). Maybe related to some manual events? Though I doubt it. It's not doable to interact with the entirety of the player base.

Well, just gave a shot at livestramer (twitch gui). It works great, though not with vlc, interestingly. I think I will just stay with mpv for the time being, then.

Quoting: linuxgamerThat' really cool! Makes quite a bit sense as they are releasing the day after. But why advertising with BST, I bet more costumers use CEST, BREXIT?I actually had to google BST, to be fair. I think the real question here is why not GMT/UTC? This is the only one needed, in my opinion. Giving something else force people to lookup the difference between the given timezone and GMT, then convert back to theirs :/

Quoting: hardpenguinHow did I miss that? Thanks!Quoting: MyeulCI might try to watch it; is it possible without flash?Quoting: Liam's newspostFor those that don't know, you can use livestreamer [Official Site] to watch Twitch streams with your favourite desktop player.
Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTIf you like to follow several streams on a regular base, it might be a good idea to go for Livestreamer Twitch GUI [External Link]. The program helps you to configure your custom player as well as notifies you of streams going live. It has the option tu use a nice, dark ui and Login to your Twitch Account to chat as well. Thanks for the tip, I will try it as soon as I get home. I might start watching streams, after all.
There should also be packages provided for your favorite distro as well as Windows.

I am eager to finish those campaigns once and for all. Will my savegames be compatible? Steamcloud?
I already own them, though. Meh, I'll just buy Life is Strange full price, then, I guess :)

Got it on a humble monthly, IIRC, so it won't count as a direct sale, I am afraid :)

On a side note, IIRC, in France, if you own the game, you are allowed to own a "private copy" of it. This is also true for other media, and is compensated by a tax on storage devices. So, ROM ownership *should* be legal there (I am not a lawyer), as well as games stripped from their DRM, as long as you own them.

Quoting: tuubiMaybe GOG could do a wrapjob for us?This sounds particularly naughty to me, I don't exactly know why ;)

Thanks Liam and TTimo! Lots of useful information in this post.
As for SteamOS, it is nice to hear that it's development is still underway, or at least that some people are still working on it ; but it has been stated multiple times that the SteamOS cabal at Valve was just around 5 people, with the majority of everyone else working on VR. So I wouldn't get my expectations too high, at least for now.
