Steam Deck Beta adds QR code logins, Gaming Mode UI in Desktop Mode

I'm really glad QR login will be possible on Steam Deck. Trying to login with my super secure 64 digit PW on deck made me crazy. Felt really bad to cut it down to less than 20 digits and reduce complexety just to be able to login by touch input. You can imagine how cruel that felt. New Steam Deck in my hands and unable to login...

Shut up and take my money. I have around 10 years of not spend AAA games budget ;)

Jokes aside, this is great news getting a Uncharted with day 1 steam deck support. It tells a clear message that the Deck is recognized as a valid gaming platform.

I will play this one, and I would also for a remastered version of 1-3.

Quoting: pbTo each their own, but my kids bought this game a couple months ago, based on the hype, and from what I see, they only played ~1h each before getting bored. Personally I did two runs and it didn't appeal to me at all.

Speaking of the steam reviews... I should probably buy it immediately, no? ;-)
Well, not every game is for everybody. VS is a very specific niche, and in my case I got over 80h playtime for the ~2€.

Imho VS gets more fun after you managed to hit the 20 min mark and successfully evolve a weapon. Reaching the powerspike when everything comes together is satifying.

Please stop, I had to buy the last 3 bundles, I don't have the time... Alone Pillars of Eternety 2 would be worth it.... ARGH

EA AntiCheat could spell trouble for Steam Deck / Linux

EA is known for bad business decisions, but they are greedy, so this will solve itself as somebody will ask the question why they miss out all the money from the Steam Deck user base which is steadily growing.

Working on a Deck 2 means Deck 1 is successful or successful enough.

Well, I'm doing my part.

Embracer Group to swallow up Tripwire, Tuxedo Labs, The Lord of the Rings

From my perspective this could be a good thing.

I consider only the first of the Tomb Raider reboot as a really good game, second and third one have major problems and are imho not as good and milked the concept of the first game to death.

The last really good LotR game for me was Battle for Middleearth which is quite old.
Shadow of Mordor was entertaining but it is so little LotR that you could replace everything storywise and don't make the game worse.
