Quoting: KimyrielleWho actually cares about the gender of a lead protagonist? It does not make a game better or worse or more or less appealing. I could play a nonbinary trans unicorn and still have a really good time even though I'd have nothing to identify with. And also I always play the german campaign when there is one even though I am not a nazi, that is because a protagonist is (most often) not meant to be someone to identify with.Quoting: F.UltraBut have you not heard that the mighty SJW:s have forced all gaming publishers to only make games with female leads since 2014!Heh, there certainly have been some debates about that issue. Apparently it didn't help all that much. Tomb Raider existed before 2014, and that's still the only truly major franchise featuring a female lead I am aware of. Other than that, there have been some rare one-hit-wonder gems like Life is Strange (it's successor-by-name-only features boy characters, so I don't count that as a female-lead franchise), Horizon or Hellblade, but in the end, video games are still largely made by men for men.

Seems like game streaming is getting more and more relevant for Linux gaming. With Steam in-home streaming, Stadia via Chrome and now the PS4s Remote Play Linux does not lack any of the major gamestreaming providers. It will be interesting to look at how this affects Linux gaming.

Just give me a DRM-free game and I have less of an incentive to pirate a game. Should be a win for everybody.

I personally don't like rms at all. He is very vocal with his political opinions and I disagree with many of them. Everybody else would have been fired years ago for what he said about necrophilia, bestiality, possession of child pornography, incest and pedophilia.
However I do think you should be able to voice your thoughts without losing your job. On the other hand he is a spokesperson and the fsf can choose who they want to be represented by.

I don't get Linux consoles. They have none of the benefits of consoles (exclusives), none of the benefits of PCs (modularity) and none of the benefits of Linux (openness). Just as bad of an Idea as the Atari VCS.
