Steam confirmed for Linux apparently

Well here you have it folks apparently Valve has announced that Steam will be coming to Linux after all.

As per the latest Phoronix article, which goes over some of the details. It includes a few sources, one of which being an article from a UK paper officially stating it too at the end of their short article.

It got me thinking though, is the telegraph just using Phoronix as their sources to say it is coming or has Valve actually spoken to them? I don't want to get my hopes up over nothing!

This really could be the start of something huge.
