Theres a new bundle folks, this one is for a single game again, but one I have been following for a while so I'm quite excited about it.

QuotePay what you want. Voxatron will cost $15, but we're letting you set the price!

Voxatron works great on Mac, Windows, and Linux.

Be the first to tackle this voxel-based, old-school-gone-new platform shooter. Jump into the Voxatron alpha and shoot your way through twenty challenging areas filled with blocky baddies, destructible toys, and palliative powerups.

Get Voxatron's future content and gameplay updates. As a customer of the Humble Voxatron Debut, you'll receive access to all of Lexaloffle's future updates to Voxatron: levels, characters, and more!

Level editor included, with monster creation tools on the way! After conquering the alpha adventure, check out the “BBS Levels” for instant-access to user-created content. Want to make your own voxel masterpiece? Voxde -- the Voxatron level editor -- is included with every purchase, granting you the ability to create mind-blowing new environments to share with the world. And soon, Lexaloffle plans to add monster creation tools for designing your own blocky bad guys to populate your creations.

You can support charity. Choose exactly how your purchase is divided: between the developers, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and the Child's Play Charity. Also, if you like this deal, a tip to the Humble Bundle itself would be much appreciated!

And this time it is only an Alpha... *whacks head into the wall*

Seriously, the game may be great (I am not sure, had not heard of it), but in my opinion all this is doing is devaluing the Humble Indie Bundle brand. And with this a good reputation is the most important thing you can have.

They should have less Bundles, maybe only two or three a year, and work on making each a quality purchase. This just seems lazy and complacent.

Again, not a dig on the game, just the direction the Bundle's seems to be going

Not Heard of Voxatron? You being a regular at Gol? We have posted news on this game a few times.
Seriously though this game does look cool

I do not remember every news post on GOL (I do read them though)...

As I said, game itself is probably cool (as voxels are cool), but one alpha does not a bundle make in my opinion...

Yeah I would have to agree the last bundle kinda SUCKED really the games were not that great. Yeah one alpha game does not make a bundle.

?

Of course one game isn't a bundle. That's why this is the Humble Voxatron Debut.

And are we really complaining about how a pay what you want program that enforces no DRM and cross-platform is ran? Really?

I do like the fact that every comment disagrees...and they are all true. I am personally disappointed that this is not a bundle...or even a complete game however cool it is, and it looks very cool, and it would benefit from a lot of user content. I personally would have loved this to be a speciality bundle of upcoming promising mostly finished indie games that need a cash injection to push them to completion, and get some viral advertising , and user content. Project Zomboid could do certainly do with a little good news, after having a positive reception, a great alpha product, its been all Doom and Gloom since. Or Starfarer a lovely topdown Space Combat that has had little to no press, and has a fun beta out now. Or King Authur's Gold selling some of its premium membership, it needs more players online, and pushes out exciting new content regularly. I will be getting this because you cannot go wrong with Lego Robotron, but at most it is worth a fifth of what I have given for the other bundles. Personally I think Puppy Games refreshed high resolution retro games included in its Ultrabundle should be getting more attention Droid Assault on its own is a worth its "daft"[sic] price

not sure about this, I do my best to support linux games and thus the humble bundle but not sure about this one at all, last one was not that good either.

btw, on a side note, humble guys got a capital investor http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/34255/Humble_Bundle_Backed_By_47_Million_In_Venture_Capital.php, would that explain the changes to the last few bundles or am I being silly :).

edit: okay I went for it... and its good fun, have to agree with that :)
