Monster RPG 2 still needs help to get open sourced!

By - | Views: 3,991
Monster RPG 2 is still looking to get to $1,500 to become completely open and free. The game is a real throwback to old school RPG games, it's not one to miss.

They are over 1/3rd the way there now with $600+ pledged, so not much left and with 17 days left - well it should be an easy win for open source, still, it needs your support! Tell everyone to get pledging for this one!

I mean for each $50 pledge he will add in a custom feature to the game...you can't lose with this one. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Thanks for posting this! Yes, we're over 40% there but there's still a (relative to what we've got so far) long way to go!

Man, I really wish I could. Is there any way I could donate via PaySafeCard? It wouldn't be much, but I'd still like to contribute.

Let me look into it for you. Can't promise anything. :)

Looks like it would require quite some work and time to support, unfortunately. I would need to do some paperwork for the UK tax office and so on. In my experience this usually takes a couple months. I don't think I can do it, but thanks and I'm sorry. :(

Oh, well. When you release the game, perhaps I'll be able to buy it then using PSC. Thanks for looking into it, but it seems like even most services do not support PSC (other than Steam). Maybe Humble and GOG will eventually start providing support for it as well.

Hopefully you'll get there anyway. Whatever Baryon is, I'll definitely look into getting it once it's out. Especially seeing that it will be on Android. Provided I get a tablet/new phone by then that is.

I have sent this to a few other Linux sites I hope they pick it up.

LXER is the only one so far to say they won't put it up.
