Shorebound studio's, the people behind the sadly failed kickstarter Shadow Remnants are doing a small kickstarter for their almost finished game Spectraball: Extended Edition. It is a remake of the 2008 indie release, Spectraball. In addition to several upgrades and additions

They are looking for a total of $5,000 which isn't much compared to almost all other games.

QuoteWhat is Spectraball?

Spectraball: Extended Edition is an indie game which combines elements of platforming, puzzle solving, addictive gameplay and stunning visuals to deliver an experience that sets a new standard for its genre.

Loosely based on one of my favorite childhood games, Marble Madness, the object of the game is simple: make it through each stage as quickly as possible. However, as you progress you will find that each stage presents its own unique obstacles and challenges that you will have to overcome.

Why do we need help?

While most of the development work is already done, in order to make this happen we still need to cover marketing and asset licensing costs. While these costs aren't terribly expensive, for a small indie developer they are still significant. Please help us in any way you can. We believe in making fun games and need your help to do it!

What platforms will it be available on?

Currently Spectraball runs on Windows, Mac and Linux. This time around, we wanted to make it a high priority to support the Mac and Linux community.
