GOL Cast: Low Gravity Jumping in Rochard

By - | Views: 6,354
I saw that this game had a HUGE discount on Steam and decided to show some footage about it in case you were wondering whether to buy it or not. Queue the low gravity environments and let's start jumping!

Rochard is a platformer with a nice balance of exciting fights and interesting puzzles. You are John Rochard, an astro-miner, who's life isn't going well: the asteroid fields haven't yielded any turbinium, "space diesel" for a long time and you are at risk of losing your job due to this, but then something strange happens...

This game would be great anyways, but the 80% off discount makes this a must-have in my opinion. If you like platformers, then this might be something for your taste. Also, it's a Finnish game, so it's bound to be awesome! :P

I bought it from the Humble weekly sale and must say the game is good fun. I love the style and sayings of the main character. If you like platformers, the game is a must have :).

Some exciting trivia, Rochard was the first commercially available Unity title on Linux. Recoil worked with the Unity developers to iron out bugs in the leadup to Linux publishing becoming publicly available, echoing their previous relationship which lead to Rochard being the first Unity title on the Playstation 3.
