So a bit of fun speculation, will it be a SteamOS exclusive? I am completely unsure on that, but it certainly would help them move a few boxes I would think!
Personally I have only completely Half-Life one since it came to Linux, I still have Half-Life 2 to complete so this will give me a bit of a push I think.
What are your thoughts Linux gamers?

Another possibility is that they release simultaneously on all PC platforms, but offer it exclusively on SteamOS (& Linux) for free. This way no one can really direct hate towards them (quite the opposite in fact), but their OS gets a big boost. They can certainly afford it, and in the long term it would definitely be worth the short term lost revenue.
