Planetary Annihilation Becomes More Awesome

Planetary Annihilation has recently overhauled the balance of the game in the latest patch as they aim to improve all aspects of the massive-scale RTS game.

The patch this weekly is mainly about balance, but the developers have talked up a patch that will come soon that will alter the game dramatically:
QuoteThe next Planetary Annihilation update will include an experience you’ve been waiting for. To be a little more specific, it’s a “big rock” feature. Big rock features are high-priority features that either: (a) blend parts of the game to make it more cohesive, (b) amp up the intensity of the game, (c) introduce new mechanics, or (d) add a new mode. Whatever the big rock is, you can bet it’s going to be awesome.

So, excuse all the noise. We think the reward is worth it.

I will be very interested to see what new game modes they can come up with, it's not like it needs any new modes though the game is exciting enough watching metal blow up metal as your planet revolves around the sun. Seeing the shadows gradually change as you orbit is amazing.

It's good to see the developers like Uber actually delivery on their Kickstarter promised, I've had an absolute blast playing PA.

You can get the game directly here or grab it on Steam. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Bought the game some time back, but the single player is really tough so to say :D. Wish there was a mode where you can for once build up completely to see the things endgame, and know what and how to build in future.
