Drunken Robot Pornography was recently released on Steam and we have been graced with a key to take a look at this good looking FPS game.

Me playing another game terribly, hooray!

Honestly until I got to level 6 I thought the game was easy to the point of being boring. I am pleased to say once you hit level 6 everything changes.

The games graphics are really good and that for me is essential in an FPS game, so it hits the nail on the head there. When you first get into it you think "what the hell am I playing?" and as the difficulty levels quickly ramp up that quickly changes to "WHY ARE THERE SO MANY LASERS?!". I mean seriously, a massive jellyfish titan comes along and shoots lasers EVERYWHERE.

You really do have to play this one with a mouse folks. It does support game-pads, but I found them too floaty and you need the speed and precision of a mouse or else you will die a good many multiples of times as you would with a mouse.

The level design in this is fantastic as well with some great colours and interesting mechanics like jump platforms. You can easily die jumping from platform to platform shooting away if you're not careful, so that adds another difficulty level to the game.

Honestly I think it's a brilliant bullet-hell FPS that mixes humour and good music together with absolutely insane game-play, so it's really one not to miss. I can see the humour getting better as the game goes on too, as it was just getting warmed up in my video.

The only thing I dislike is that the gun feels like it has infinite range and there's little to no feedback from the weapon itself it just seems very static, but you don't really see that when it becomes bullet hell, so it only becomes a minor point.

I imagine this would make a great party game, maybe a good one to whack on a Steam Machine if you hone your game-pad skills.

Check it out on Steam if you dare to take on the many lasers.

For now, this game doesn't really attracts me, even if the platforms reminds me a bit ricochet.

My opinion may change, I will just wait more before buying it... And I am returning to play the SuperHot demo btw ;-)

The bases remind me of "AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome", a game which I'm terrible at. I'm not very good at bullet hell either, for that matter, so I'll probably give this a miss. Does look fun for group play though.

Wow!!

Like it a lot. This will so improve my air strafing skills in TF2 for rocket and sticky jumping.

Will be sure to get this soon!
