Explore & Shape Planets In The Gorgeous ASTRONEER, Coming To Linux

ASTRONEER was quite a surprise to see sent in, and it looks fantastic. You are an astronaut exploring and re-shaping different worlds, it's simple and beautiful.

It's not often a trailer can wow me, but this game really did:

How can you not like the look of this?

There's an infinite amount of worlds to explore, shape and plunder which makes it quite an expansive game. Looks like you will be able to build and customize vehicles, and even play with others. Now this is the kind of sandbox game I have been waiting for!

It's built with Unreal Engine 4, so it's another game that should be easy to come to Linux, and I can't wait to see how it runs.

Linux is listed as a confirmed platform on the Destructoid article. We have also reached out to the developer to update their website with the official platforms, so we can be sure that way.

Check out the official ASTRONEER website, and be amazed with me.

I can't wait to setup a base and recover some artefacts.

Thanks for the info Linux Luke! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Looks fantastic. Kinda remind me of No Mans Sky, yet different enough to be of interest.

Looks fantastic. Do they plan GOG release?

From the site it appears the game is still in the early stages, so they won't be releasing soon. But I wish them luck.

Yet another indie sandbox game. Usually I find them boring rather quickly . Let's hope this one will be different, somehow.
