GOL Asks: What have you been playing on Linux & SteamOS recently?

By - | Views: 47,673
It's time for another edition of "GOL Asks", and today I am asking about games you have been playing and loving or hating recently.

I will open up the floor to you, my lovely users to tell everyone what you have be doing. I haven't asked this question for a few months, so it will be interesting to see what people have moved onto.

Personally, I got a little bit sucked into Galak-Z recently, as you might have noticed by the article. I'm the worst pilot in the word, but I love it. I really need to do another Alien: Isolation livestream, but my god, there's not enough RUM in the world to make me do that ;) Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Star Citizen (Alpha) - not on Linux yet but promised to be. Poised to be my most favourite game of all time.
Insurgency - such a fun game, my favourite genre so nice tactical teamwork drew me in instantly
Prison Architect - didn't expect a story, pleasantly surprised
Empire: Total War - got a bit bored with the tutorial/campaign tho, so stopping that.

At a recent LAN we did:
TF2 - My 2nd most favourite game of all time (1st being Tribes 1, annihilation mod
PAYDAY2 - Great fun! First time playing, nice teamwork game too. (I was waiting for it to come to Linux before installing, but the LAN made me install on windows.)
COD5

What I want to do:
Fix my broken modded KSP and explore 100%.
Start up Planet Explorers again, so many good functionality/features in this! =)

Recently? Bioshock 1 DRMFREE Humblebundle edition via WINe.

I would like to see a Bioshock Redux: The two original games but with the graphics, gameplay and the Linux compatibility of Bioshock Infinite.

I've been playing mostly The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians and ... AdVenture Capitalist (WHY?? What is the point?! Why am I clicking these things?!). And also been doing a lot of testing and making profiles for the Steam Controller.
