Win A Steam Machine From GameAgent, UK & USA Only

By - | Views: 16,517
Aspyr Media's (porters of Borderlands to Linux) store GameAgent is running a little give-away, and it couldn't be more exciting. You could win a top-end Alienware Steam Machine.

Meanwhile, I am sat here angry at GAME for still not processing my order of the Steam Controller for November 10th that I placed with them in July. Safe to say I'm entering this too, even if I don't win the main prize, a runner up Steam Controller might end up being pretty useful.

QuoteWith the holiday season fast approaching, it’s time for another GameAgent giveaway! However, instead of offering up a piece of Mac hardware, we’ve managed to get our hands on a top-of-the-line Alienware™ Steam Machine this time around to give away as our grand prize! The grand prize also comes with a new Steam controller and includes a copy of every Aspyr-published SteamOS game to compliment the winner’s wonderful new machine! Four less lucky but still lucky runners-up will get a Steam controller and an Aspyr SteamOS game of choice.

OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, AND UNITED KINGDOM WHO ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD AS OF THE DATE OF ENTRY.

All you have to do is go here while logged in with your GameAgent store account, and enter it. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Failing at all points for entering -- too bad :(

I need <18yo, whole-Europe (or atleast Germany :P) give-aways :D

Entered as well before reading this news. Oh well, if I win I can move to the UK for a day and have it shipped, right? ;-)

I can't remember the last time I ever won anything like this (so it feels like a waste of time), and I know I'm opening myself up to a potential increase in spam, but what the hell, I entered. Maybe I'll get lucky.

Never thought I'd day this, but I've now found a reason not to have left the UK :P.

Quoting: KelsAh, I'd entered without noticing the restriction (prior to seeing this article). Pity they probably wouldn't consider Canada an honourary UK member.

Isn't Canada more of the US's weird step-brother?

America and Europe would make more sense since the most people live most outside of USA&UK.
Even Valve delivers all its products international.

No. And if we were it would be rude to say so. Most of us cling grimly to our delusions of not being much like the US.

Well, I sign up for the contest even if I'm in Canada. If I win, I will gladly give it to you Liam. We can pretend I'm from UK. :)

It's nice to see a competition like this actually including the UK.... unlike some *cough* toms hardware *cough*

It should work on other countries, for example, thanks to a company than help in the process, I have bought stuff from amazon with a postal direction targeting to miami, then it arrives to my country. So I guess I can still participate in this giveaway. The only problem is than I would have to select usa as my country lol, so I didnt
