Police Infinity claims it isn't "yet another Unity FPS" and it has my hopes up a little bit. It doesn't look too bad, and the animations in first person look quite nice too. It's due to enter Early Access soon.

I like how this developer doesn't dance around this issue:
QuoteLet me tell you one thing, the developers of these games have.. *almost* done nothing. They just use so called FPS Kits and publish their games on greenlight, maybe made a few changes that breake these kits or at least make them worse. This is not what we do.

This makes me interested, but I hope they have the product to back this up.

What I also like is that the developer not only confirmed Linux, but has obviously tested it on Linux too:

I will keep an eye on this one, and keep you updated. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Maybe the torch has a grid on the end that directs the light & avoids leaks round the edges?

When will developers realize that simple sometimes is just as good or better than an all out assault for the best map graphics.

This looks like CS:S and that gives me a big warm feeling like I would love the fuck out of it.
