Not sure how we missed this, but Feral Interactive have officially confirmed F1 2015 is coming to Linux.
It was apparently posted just after the Tomb Raider system requirements were revealed going by their news dates, but it's possibly it was only recently made visible as it states the post was updated on the 5th of May.
We pretty much already knew this, but it's great to see official confirmation.

I've always been a fan of racing games, and F1 2015 is the last title I played(on Windows) and I loved it. I've always wanted this one title on my Linux machine. It'd be nice of Feral to port it. Although, the removal of news doesn't builds up much confidence... :(

Hopefully they will be able to let us know either way soon.

Maybe only half on-topic, but is any of the Feral ports 'visible' outside the Steam universe? Or are they sort-of married to Steam/Valve?
(I know I have a game that has the Feral Logo in the startup. Don't remember what it was - most likely from one of the Humble Indie Bundles.)

I think there was a link to the SteamDB depot referencing a Linux build for F1 2015 before the leaked free weekend, but I can't find the article at the moment. Either way, Feral have bumped the F1 2015 tease up to "very soon!" on their [url=feralinteractive.com/en/upcoming/]Feral Radar[/url]

The most plausible theory right now about the latest item to appear on the radar is that it's Dirt Rally :) Makes sense since they've already done the heavy lifting of porting the rendering engine.
