Exodemon, assume the role of a scientist infected by demonic forces

Exodemon is a recent discovery that I was about to write up and then the developer emailed me, how about those odds! The developer said they have just recently supported Linux and need some attention.

I love the premise of the game, the visuals are retro but still good looking and the gameplay looks frantic and fun.

About the game
Exodemon is a fast paced first person shooter where you assume the role of a scientist infected by demonic forces through chaotic facilities.

Highly inspired by classics like Doom, Hexen, Quake and Heretic, Exodemon brings the good old shooter spirit with a fresh new approach.

So it's like sci-fi Ziggurat? That I can imagine getting into.

I have a weakness for any game mentioned in the same breath as Heretic or Hexen! :3 I'll have to at least check it out.

Played what they have on itch.io, and it's decent! The elevator level having no mid-level checkpoints is a bit brutal, and if there's supposed to be music it wasn't working, but the key binding (via the Unity launcher) actually works.

It's not procedurally-generated, though.

The lack of music was a bug and now we have checkpoints :)

Do you have a link to the fixed build? I checked itch.io and the dropbox link and there seems to be no change.
EDIT: Tried every link I could find :\

I am not a huge fan of the graphical style but the gameplay sounds fun.
