Recently, some images 'leaked' in a Steam update that showed off a shiny new look for the Steam client and Valve have confirmed it is being worked on. Thanks to SteamDB for noticing and putting the images up.

What they said:
ValveIt's a mockup of something that's being worked on that doesn't have a date.

The Steam client is in need of an overhaul, as it's old and lacking in so many areas. Hopefully we will see something come of this, as I actually really like that design. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I'd be quite happy with this mockup if the "apps" section has Netflix, Youtube, Plex, Kodi, etc. While I know there are workarounds, the experience isn't seamless and isn't based on controller inputs.

I neither found Leopard's posting helpful or interesting - nor Liam's posting calm.

BTW, I've heard (here :p ) that the Steam GUI might change some day, what are you thinking about this?

My biggest complaint by far would be that I can't sort games by release of the Linux version.

Quoting: pbMore sorting options is what I'd really like to see. For example sorting by user reviews or by achievement completion percentage.

Oh, and being able to download the soundtrack and/or extras without downloading the whole game (esp. a Windows-only game) would be awesome.
Yeah, I'd like to be able to filter games by user tags and listed features. I'd simply like to type in "sci-fi" or "local multiplayer" and find relevant games in my library.

Quoting: LeopardWow,i think that place is only reserved for praises which you call them "helpful".So if writing "that's wonderful news" is helpful,so be it.

I guess you should learn to check your temper and being honest. You're not calm, which is obvious.By the way,i think you should tinker quote mess GoL has. This became a very "helpful" comment i guess.

Look,i love this site and people in it;even i had some argues. But as the head of this site, you should check your attitude. If i'm being silly, then don't fall to silly level,ok?If my comment was not helpful then don't mind, which you should do in first place if you really think this is unhelpful.
You're fully welcome to comment, but again, your post was basically pointless as pointed out by others now too.

I'm not mad, angry, or anything. It's a little weird when people do something silly and get called out on it, to claim the other person is "mad". I see this all the time across the net, it's really weird

Seriously, I don't know how calmer I could be. I'm sat here sipping cola and eating a chocolate covered thingymabob. ^_^

For the record and final comment on it: It serves no purpose to tell us "this news is from x ago".

Now, let's get this back on topic shall we?

Combining tags in a search would be good!
There's no such feature, right?
By the way, is any external site doing that?

Quoting: doctorxas long as they dont touch the small view... i like it just like it is.

Of course they are going to remove it, you must be exposed to skins, cards, DLC's, market and shit so they can squeeze last bit of money from you. You must write review add tags and upvote/downvota games so Valve does not need to pay for proper quality control. Look at all your friends, they are higher level than you, their e-dick is waaay bigger than yours, better buy some cards, craft badges share your personal information for an achievements get exp. Gamification my friend, game is about being a slave and giving Valve money for increasing some intiger value in a pointless databse so you can feel like youre e-dick is 1mm longer.

Sorry, but I don't realize a big difference to the actual big picture mode.

Leopards comment was obviously not useful. AFAIK it's not 'madness' that guy called it wrong. You have been called repeatedly across platforms for being short fused.. your fuse is short lol, it's no big deal that your snappy, better than snarky. I find it funny TBH especially on Twitch streams it adds a little spice :D
