Well then, this is interesting. Not long after Feral Interactive asked to see interest for a Linux version of F1 2017 [Steam], the official Twitter account just let something slip.

Here's the Tweet:

We are aware that there's a delay with the Mac and Linux versions. We are looking into it.

— Formula 1® Game (@Formula1game) August 22, 2017

In case it vanishes, it says this:

QuoteWe are aware that there's a delay with the Mac and Linux versions. We are looking into it.

No one has officially confirmed it's actually on the way to Linux, so I find that amusing.

Also, a Feral staff member went onto reddit today with a question of "Favourite car in a game?" and in this post, they said "... andnothisisdefinitelynotateaserofanykind.".

Well well, what do we all think?

Thanks to Knucks in our Discord for finding it!

Quoting: EhvisF1 2017 has Linux depots (encrypted) and a configuration.

Not a sure sign, but what percentage of games get Linux depots and never end up seeing a release? I know it's more than zero, but can anyone actually do the math?
Quite a lot :)

You should have asked differently: what percentage of Feral games have Linux depots and no Linux release.
