Ready to earn some more cosmetic items? The Spring Fever event in Rocket League [Steam] is now live and you can earn yourself some new items using Flowers you earn while playing like this:

That's right, Rocket League is bringing the flower power allowing you to earn a new crate through playing, as well as gaining a Flower currency to buy special items. You can also just buy the crate with real money if you wish, much more fun to earn it though.

It doesn't really take that long to get the items either, considering as you see above a single game today gave me 6 Flowers. Another 5 or so games and I might be able to afford the rather sweet Dizzy Birds hat:

The event ends Monday, April 9, 5pm PDT/midnight UTC. So no rush, you've got quite a lot of time and for regular players earning them all will be pretty darn easy. I'm actually surprised they didn't make the Decryptor (used to unlock crates, instead of real money) more difficult to obtain, it's another reason why Rocket League has one of the nicest Loot Box systems around.
