First of all, to everyone who has supported us in the past and to those who continue to do so now—thank you! Thanks to you, there's no adverts to be found anywhere on the website and never will be.

Hopefully we have enough ways covered for people to consider throwing their support behind us:

All the ways to support us, can be found on this page.

It's already looking like it's going to be a very interesting year, with a lot of fun things going on behind the scenes. I've got quite a few plans of my own for the website this year, both in terms of content and new features that will roll out as the year goes on.

If you ever wish to contact us directly to request an article, video or something else our inbox is always open.

We had a strong 2018, let's have an awesome 2019!

Quoting: GuestI regret not being in the position of contributing more (financially, or otherwise), but I can definitely continue to say that I enjoy the site, the community, and will look forward to see what 2019 brings.
Keep it up!
You personally helped a lot in the early days (and big time too) so thank you!

Edit: And thanks to everyone who starts, it's appreciated!

Last time I tried to support GoL via Patreon they rejected my credit card (I'm from Argentina and, well, normally external payments services does this -- got similar problems when buying from Feral store).

I'll retry in a couple of weeks to see if I'm able to send you a cup of coffee per month, Liam.

BTW, worth mention that we can also give monetary support to many cool projects that lets us play on linux. Remember that there are many devs out there doing a fantastic job, and with an extra cup of coffee it could become even better!

Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoIf someone donate via Paypal, how do you know the GOL identity?
What do you mean?

If I donate via paypal, how do you know it was me?
You can add your paypal email as your additional email in the User CP.

The minimum tier for to be supporter+ is in USD or GBP?
Same as it is on Patreon.

You didn't understand my question.

When I click Paypal, the currency that appears on the screen is GBP....

...meanwhile the tier values are in U$D..

I don't know the currency equivalence.

Quoting: Guestyeah i have problems
i have problems because everytime i go on internet i see words content work job content work job.

im not here for content but for information cuz there is forums and people who are on here share similar interests.
and i don't ahve negative preconceptions for word content but this word makes me feel negative.

why can't you use your brain and use different word?? why is everybody the same and uses the same words on internet? content work job??
examples:
i go on path of exile forum. people comment content and beg devs for content
i go on diablo 3 forum. people cry that blizzard dont put new content so game is crap
i go on runescape forum and read how people like the content
my friend who watches youtube all the time and youtubers he hears this word all the time and he hates this word too. it's not just me.

after seeing word content on internet trillion times in one year, it may make me feel negative. if you feel negative cuz of my posts then just ban me, and you will have your content.
Is this some kind of performance art?
Because it is really impressive.

Either way, I continue to like the site, news and the odd information and funny stuff in the discussions.
Go on.

If you want the status, it's at least £3.10 (about that anyway, exchange rates vary).
WorMzy Jan 19, 2019
Currently $7 is about £5.40.

The pound isn't worth as much as it used to be. :P

I appreciate your very grounded way of dealing with information and events. You don't tend to overreact, but you are sensitive enough not to overlook small but important information.

You have a very good and credible way of dealing with developers and users, you don't keep back your opinions, but you respect dissenting opinions.

All this makes GOL a big win for the Linux gaming community in my eyes, and I don't necessarily have to share your opinion every time to generally trust your judgement.

Thank you, when times are heated, I really do try hard to stay as a reasonable voice for all sides.

states no advertisement by advertising for support

in all seriousness, keep up the good work. There have been some fun kid games that I would never have heard about if it wasn't' for this site. Likewise keeping the linux-gaming concept alive is all good
