It's the end of another busy week for Linux gaming, for many people the weekend is filled full of games.

For me, I shall be likely diving into some more Total War: THREE KINGDOMS. It's not perfect but it's by far the nicest Total War game I've tried in a very long time. Feral Interactive have done some incredible work on the optimisations for the Linux version that I remain very impressed.

I shall also be booting up my old friend Polychromatic, as I desperately try to beat the score of our contributor Samsai. Such a maddeningly streamlined twin-stick shooter, it's frustratingly good at killing me when I feel like I'm finally doing well.

So dear readers, what play button are you clicking on across this weekend and what do you think about it?

Have been putting in a lot of hours in Graveyard Keeper and just started Lords Of The Fallen (awesome game unfortunately the Steam versions DRM is not removed so it won't work on proton unlike the GOG version)

Playing nothing this weekend :) ( yet, I hope tomorrow will do some Galactic Civilizations 2 as the pretty box came yesterday )

Quoting: GuestPlaying the amazing new Amiga shmup "Reshoot R" under FS-UAE under Ubuntu !
(released this week :-)

You need an AGA chipset, I hope that's not too high end !

Wow, this game looks nice!

Vambrace: Cold Soul is my current favourite. Version 1.05 fixes a lot of niggles I had with the balance and gameplay, and the game is faultless to play. It also looks, ahem... stunning ;-)

Also looking forward to delving back into ATOM RPG, with its new content. Also on my list to play are Hedon and Undead Horde.

Working on the second straight playthrough of Witcher 3.

Don't really follow new games much. And once I really get into a game, I play that a lot over a prolonged period of time. Quality over quantity :)

The backlog is colossal, although I've been fairly restrictive about buying games on sale and whatnot. Maybe Linux will be able to still run these things in 40-50 years? :D

Quoting: denyasisRimworld. The most recent update came out Thursday and it decreases load times drastically for games with mods. I went from 800 sec to 180 sec on my old laptop.

I just lost half my colonists in a raid, so it'll be interesting to see if I can rebuild before winter.
Cool. I got the email about a new update, but haven't downloaded and tried it out yet. It's a great game. The raids get a bit silly later on (and the blasted ships are a pain in the neck), but I like the early to mid game.

(Sorry for all the consecutive posts, I'm reading through the thread)
Quoting: riusmaTo the Moon, the game was sitting in my library since December 2016 so I think it's more than time to have a look at it! Not bad so far (about 1 hour in it), sad story with an old console era vibe for the graphics and gameplay! :|
I kinda envy you. You're in for such an awesome game (although some will rudely call it a digital story or suchlike). Heartstrings may get pulled ;-)

Good old Minecraft for me, but also Super Cane Magic Zero, I have been waiting for it to come out of early access! :)

Quoting: Alm888I am ashamed to admit, but it is "Pathologic 2" for me this weekend.
It is a shame this game is not available on Linux

It should be eventually (unless they back out on their promises):
