Beyond Fun Studio are raising a little funding on Kickstarter to complete their crazy party game, Aeolis Tournament, which is planned to release with Linux support this Spring.

You compete in various different game modes, using a super-easy one-button mechanic. Each character has an air cannon, to affect their surroundings for whatever mode they're in. Inspired by the likes of Fuzion Frenzy, they're going for a "Nintendo-inspired" cartoony look.

With physics-based gameplay, a tournament mode and both local/online cross-platform multiplayer it sounds like it could be a huge amount of fun, you can see some of what to expect in the trailer they put out that we covered before here:

Their Kickstarter campaign, which is now live until February 13 needs to hit at least twenty thousand Canadian dollars to be successful. They already have well over five thousand pledged and with how much time they have, it looks like a great start to their campaign.

Linux support is fully planned as they confirmed to us before and it's clearly listed. See more on Kickstarter and follow on Steam.
