What are you clicking on this weekend? Come tell us

By - | Views: 16,004

It's the weekend and hopefully some of you will find the time to relax and play some games. There's been a lot of new releases lately too!

For me, I'm a little torn.

The new Stoneshard update is really good, filled full of new content to play through and a lot of new weapons to try out. The brutal combat and setting certainly takes getting used to, along with the health system. I've lost count on the amount of times I've died in it over the last few days.

I also want to play a whole lot more Burning Knight simply because it's so incredibly fun to blast through. So much insane action when you manage to build up a list of items. Just look at how ridiculous it can be!

You know what? I'm clicking Play on Burning Knight as soon as this goes up…

Over to you: what will you be clicking on across this weekend and into next week? Let us know in the comments and suggest some good picks for your fellow GOL reader.

I just bought the absurd amount of games in the Justice and Equality Bundle from itch, so I will be doing a lot of clicking on this one for sure. But apart from that, mostly VR games (I got used to it and do not have any more motion sickness, yay! Even Overload doesn't gets me nauseous) and the amazingly fun Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr and Prophecy collection.

BTW, anyone knows how to resolve instability in Payday2 VR and Borderlands 2 VR on Linux? These games are crashing quite often, which makes the experience not so good.

Clearly the Desperados 3 Demo , only 10 days left until the release.
Looking forward to the improving wine releases to deal with the Windows MediaFramework requirements of many modern games.

I think I got Neoverse in last month's Humble Choice - turns out, it's absolutely superb, albeit Windows-only, but runs nearly perfectly in Proton (the tutorial screen doesn't display, but otherwise it's perfect). Dare I suggest... better than Slay the Spire?? It's basically the same game, except the heroines are all improbably proportioned girls. But putting the dubious boob physics aside, the core card game is superb. Loads of customisation, great synergies and fantastic strategy. Highly recommended.

I'm also completely addicted to Mana Spark. The graphics are a nearly-unplayable mess, but the gameplay is so smooth and satisfying, you start to ignore it. Great progression, amazing power ups and again - great synergies with certain upgrades. Just awesome.

Finally, I've just bought Burning Knight, so I'm looking forward to playing that!

Stygian rise of the old ones, it was available on Humble bundle.
For me it will likely be Elite Dangerous via Steam Play. I've started messing with the background simulation, trying to get an independent star system to join the Alliance.
Also of course for the noble goal to replace a theocratic government by one where every citizen is equal, and some are even more equal than others. :P

What do you mean by that? How are you "messing with the ?background? simulation"?

Let me guess, you got harder into Elite because of the awesome announcement that they will finally have Space Legs? I found it amazing but on the other hand it will not initially have VR. One up, one down :'(

Pathfinder: Kingmaker, which I got on a great GOG sale. Closest thing to Neverwinter Nights I've found, and so far, a lot of fun.

I see a couple of people playing Elder Scrolls Online. I was wondering if there was a Linux guild to meet up and game together? I'm looking at getting Greymoor this weekend.
