Stuck for what to pick up? With the huge Steam Summer Sale ending tomorrow at 5PM UTC, here's a little helping hand for you on what's good.

I get why you might be stuck, with well over six thousand games on Steam alone that support Linux, it's easy to get completely swallowed up in the vast sea of games. Especially true if you're looking to pick up a game on sale, as there's close to five thousand of those discounted!

Going by games that have a good discount on them and support Linux officially, plus they're rated very highly by users, here's 10 games you should definitely pick up if you don't own them already:

Those are all well-known, often talked about titles that are highly rated but what about the smaller and/or lesser-known titles that still deserve plenty of attention? Here's another few that I think are firmly worth spending some time with:

Picked up something good you're dying to tell everyone about? Let us know in the comments.

Been thoroughly underwhelmed by this event, at times I've even forgotten that here was one. It doesn't feel like Valve are even trying any more.

Well.. what can they do, more sales? :D
I just buy all the games I want in the first day and then forget about it... or maybe another game or two later if I discover them before it ends.

I mean, this time at least they brought the point shop which was pretty cool in the first day when, again, I bought all the items I wanted and then never opened it again.

I picked up Dicey Dungeons. Only played the first "show", but it is good fun. And picked up the Puppygames Ultrabundle because I will have to try Basingstoke at some point. And a few more that I don't quite remember :D

QuoteDying Light - 66% off - With the upcoming Hellraid DLC (see our preview), it's going to get even more fun.

Is it supposed to be working well on Linux ?
I’m only getting a black screen with a white line at the bottom, like a loading something.
I thought maybe it’s just long to load, but it’s 10 minutes now, so it’s more like a crash i guess ?

Linux Manjaro (Arch) 64bits Xfce
Intel Core i5 4590 (4 x 3,3 GHz)
GeForce GTX 1060 @ 6 Go
Nvidia Drivers
16 Go DIMM DDR3 PC12800
SSD Crucial 480Go
BENQ GL2460 16/9 24" 1920x1080

Run it with the Steam Linux Runtime. Right click -> Properties -> Tick the Steam Play box and pick Steam Linux Runtime. It's the container system for Linux builds, as it seems something on Arch/Manjaro is conflicting with it preventing it running properly. The container fixes it :)
