Steam has a huge City Builder sale going on right now until November 10

Need to get your mind off the world for a bit and perhaps create your own ideal society? Well, Valve are here to help with that with a new Steam sale.

The City Builder Sale is live from now until November 10 at 6PM UTC so you've got a good few days to take a look, and see if there's anything you want to grab from it. It's a genre that's surprisingly varied, with rather a lot of choices depending on what type of building you're after.

Here's 10 choices to get you going in order of discount:

  1. Sid Meier's Civilization VI - 75% off
  2. Rise of Industry - 67% off
  3. Surviving Mars - 66% off
  4. ISLANDERS - 60% off
  5. Rise to Ruins - 50% off
  6. SimAirport - 50% off
  7. Tropico 6 - 50% off
  8. Kingdoms and Castles - 30% off
  9. Parkitect - 25% off
  10. Littlewood - 20% off

See the full sale page here.

Lots of gems available, I'm especially fond of Kingdoms and Castles, Parkitect and Littlewood - you can't really go wrong with either of them. Feel free to highlight some of your favourites in the comments, let your fellow readers know why they should be picking up what you think is awesome.

Wow, this is totally my type of sale... Sadly nothing really stands out as exciting to me. Might be a good thing as I'm pretty poor.

Space Haven looks like it might be a good one. I'll have to keep an eye on it, especially if it dives hard into the minutia of building a ship. That would be awesome.

Picked up Desperados iii @ 40% off. Tried it a bit: basically Shadow Tactics in the Wild West.
