Remember the craziness of Goat Simulator? Wanted Raccoon has a familiar theme of animals going wild and it's entering Early Access on March 19 with Linux support.

A game that seems like a big gimmick but apparently there's a little more to it. The developer mentions an actual storyline and some sort of research system. You can ride skateboards, fight people, upgrade skills, and of course - steal food. Everything a good Raccoon does right? There's also something about a kidnapped family. Hero Raccoon to the rescue?

"Wanted Raccoon is a story about Raccoon, who lived a peaceful life in the forest until people suddenly invaded. The strangers cut down trees and built their houses there. Animal families were separated, and anyone who couldn’t escape was sent to the Kennels. Our Raccoon has suffered the same fate. Help the raccoon regain his freedom, find his family, and make a new home. It's time to fight back!

Raccoon’s enemies are lumberjacks, hunters, policemen and other inhabitants of Raccoon City, and each of them has a unique history and personality."

Check out Wanted Raccoon on Steam.

This sounds awesome! Added to my wishlist as my daughter and I were great Goat Simulator fans :-)

Is this *by* the studio that made Goat Simulator, or was that just a comparison? I couldn't tell.
Fake edit: I looked it up on Steam, and it's a different studio, MAD Sprouts.

I like the premise, I think you could get a lot of story mileage (and a bunch of games) out of the tension between animals and humans moving into their territory, as seen from the animal perspective.

The studio that made Goat Simulator are working on Satisfactory now, which looks to be a great game, but unfortunately no Linux version.

Oh right, yeah. Forgot about that. And I even got Satisfactory (playing with Proton) when it released on Steam middle of last year, too…

Raccoon city?It also should be infested with Zombies. Maybe I have played too much Resident evil series
But this game seems to be really interesting although I haven't played Goat Simulator. If this game is a success story like Valheim then maybe I'll buy it..

The trailer makes the game look much more fun than I was expecting from the article title. I think the offspring would really like this; made me laugh too.
