Steam Deck hits 4,500 games officially Verified or Playable

By - | Views: 35,200

After only being available for a few months now officially and with Valve still going through the reservation queue, the Steam Deck has hit 4,500 titles officially marked Verified or Playable.

Five months in, that's pretty good going don't you think? Usual reminder though, this is only the number that has been formally verified by Valve directly. The actual number of titles playable will be far greater. Going by SteamDB, which includes unlisted titles, these are the current numbers:

  • Verified - 1988
  • Playable - 2512
  • Unsupported - 1834

Some of the recently Verified titles include:

I recently picked up a game called Seraph's Last Stand to play on Deck and it's surprisingly sweet. Only £0.79 too! It sort-of scratches the same itch the likes of Vampire Survivors does, with waves of enemies and tons of upgrades to pick but it's inspired by the classic Heli Attack. Instead of you running around a big area, you're running along the bottom of the screen facing off enemies coming down at you and all the firing ends up looking like fireworks. Worth a go, slow to start but once you get going it's absolutely mental.

Boy oh boy we sure have come a long way. 4,500 verified doesn't include the thousands that work that are unverified.

Besides that meme I can't help but also think of "I think I'll eat it now" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKlADi-HkN4 )

Edit: Bonus Memes:

Also that game FTA looks pretty fun and 93% rating is pretty good ( https://store.steampowered.com/app/1919460/Seraphs_Last_Stand/?curator_clanid=4218320 )

Heck, even a lot of the Unsupported work--they just have glitches of some sort.

I suggest we call the Vampire Survivor like games Vampslike.
