Stardeus was one of the most promising Early Access releases on 2022, giving you pretty much RimWorld in space and the first major update is out now. Clearly, the developer has been rather busy.

Taking on a ton of feedback from players, this update is largely focused on many systems that just make the whole game flow a bit better and some elements became far less tedious.

It now includes derelict ships as you adventure through the stars, letting you reel it in with a winch and attach it to your ship or scrap it for materials. There's also now precision thrusters to easily adjust your ship, big improvements to system scanning with a radar to let you find resources a bit easier and it even allows you to find derelict ships and planets with anomalies. An auto rebuild option will help when a big rock smashes into your ship, a ship design preview when starting a new game along with giving you a detailed ship plan to rebuild it the same, a whole bunch of new objects and the list goes on.

This looks cool. I'm kinda wondering how this compares to say Space Haven and the like? Any thoughts?
