With the classic Tomb Raider 1 and Tomb Raider 2 fully playable with the open source re-implementation TRX, the team makes impressive progress with the third.

They recently released TRX version 1.5 which further expands the capabilities of the game engine bringing even more enhancements to the games like multi-key combo shortcuts, improved modding, an expanded stats screen and various bug fixes. But, even more exciting, is they're showing off their work for Tomb Raider 3 as they implement more of the game features which looks like it's really coming along now but plenty more still to be done on it.

I only got around to play the first one, on the SteamDeck, and it was a very good experience.
And to be honest, I cheated in some places (cheats that are so easy with TRX), I no longer have the patience that I once had, I mean doing the same tricky jump 50 times (and fail) kinda kills the joy in me.
Oh, the fact that you save everywhere is just awesome, I so hated those saving crystals on PS1.
