The OmniCase 2 from JSAUX is a quality USB-C hub worth grabbing

A while ago hardware accessory maker JSAUX sent over the OmniCase 2 Pro, and it's a great USB-C hub worth grabbing if you need some extra ports for a Steam Deck, a desktop, laptop or anything in between.

This isn't a typical Steam Deck focused accessory from JSAUX that they've become known for over the last year, instead it has a wide target of anyone who needs the ports. However, they are doing a special Steam Deck stand just for it along with a laptop stand as well.

You can pick between two models of either the OmniCase 2 or the OmniCase 2 Pro, with the difference being that the Pro model has Display Port, an extra HDMI port and an extra USB-C port although the Pro model also has one less USB-A. So it really all depends on what ports your after to hook up some more devices.

It's all about the insides. Giving you space to store the wires, and storing any little cards you might need when on the go. The lid just pulls off and slots back on with low-powered magnets, same with the stand for the Steam Deck and also the laptop stand as well.

With my time spent primarily using it on Steam Deck, it's been a perfect experience. I absolutely cannot fault this device. As a USB Hub, it does exactly the job you want it to while also being small enough to stick in your pocket and walk away with it to set up again somewhere else easily.

This is actually the device I've been using exclusively for all my recent Steam Deck videos and footage, and it hasn't let me down at all over the last few weeks.

It sure is sturdy too - it's built like a mini-tank. If you drop it on your foot, that's going to hurt and it will laugh at you. Don't ask me how I know that. Probably the best build quality of anything JSAUX has sent over so far. There's really not a whole lot else to say - you get what's advertised and it's just plain and simply great.

Cost is the important question though of course and the normal price is about £49 for the OmniCase 2 and about £65 for the OmniCase 2 Pro. You can bundle it with different extras like the stands for more.

An easy recommendation from me for anyone in the market for such a device. It has come in very hand over here. A very tidy little device. You can find it on Kickstarter where it's already proving quite popular gathering close to £20K in funding in the first hour.
